| Sumario: | As a decentralized blockchain network, Ethereum enables us to do immutable, tamper-proof and secure transactions. However, its current design makes it very difficult to trace the real owner behind an address, if not impossible. This thesis aims to give a solution to the verification of identities behind Ethereum addresses, as well as to demonstrate how a third party service can take advantage of it. In particular, we have worked with InVID Rights Management web platform to provide a blockchain-based service to guarantee that the rights given over social media videos are safe, transparent and non-repudiable. |
