Minimal complexity and chaos in periodic predator-prey models

This paper presents and discusses at the light of the existing literature some recent results of the authors together with F. Zanolin on the construction of chaotic dynamics for some classical periodic predator-prey systems. In Section 1 we remember, with gratitude, the genesis of these findings.
