Descrição
Resumo:[ANGLÈS] An experimental set-up to measure plasmon-enhanced Circular Dichroism (CD) on Planar Chiral Metamaterials (PCM) has been designed, built and tested. PCMs, made of two-dimensional arrays of metallic nano-particles, have been fabricated and their geometry optimized to maximise their CD response. We carried out first test experiments on N-Isobutyryl-Cysteine molecules in both enantiomeric forms, and observed a clear sensitivity to the handiness of the molecules.
