With regard to research on ERP-related topics, we have found a large scope of research issues and a great number of influencing variables, which we have here attempted to organize into a framework. Thus, this research report sets out to list, define and categorize the research issues relating to ERP systems within an ERP life-cycle process framework. The framework is structured in phases and dimensions. The phases are the different stages of an ERP system life-cycle within an organization, and the dimensions are the different viewpoints by which the phases could be analyzed. Finally, we make an analysis of the ERP issues from the ERP vendors perspective.Actualmente, el estudio de los sistemas de información del tipo Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) debe considerarse como una nueva área de investigación, hay poca investigación teórica o empírica sobre el tópico, con sólo algunos estudios limitados efectuados. Ahora, debido a la magnitud del fenómeno ERP, la necesidad de realización de este tipo de estudios es óbvia. Con respecto a la investigación en los tópicos relacionados con ERP, encontramos un àmplio ámbito de problemas de investigación y un gran numero de variables de influencia, que intentamos organizar aquí en un esquema conceptual. Así, este informe de investigación pretende enumerar y categorizar los problemas de investigación relacionados con sistemas ERP mediante un esquema del proceso de ciclo de vida de un ERP. El esquema esta estructurado en fases y dimensiones. Las fases son los diferentes estadios del ciclo de vida de un sistema ERP en una organización y, las dimensiones son las diferentes perspectivas por las cuales las fases pueden ser analizadas. Finalmente, hacemos un análisis de los problemas de investigación de los ERP según las perspectivas de los proveedores de los sistemas ERP.En l'actualitat, l'estudi dels sistemes d'informació tipus Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ha de considerar-se com una nova área de recerca. De moment hi ha poca investigació teòrica o empirica sobre el tema, amb només alguns estudis limitats efectuats. Degut a la magnitud del fenòmen ERP, la necessitat de realització d'aquest tipus d'estudis és òbvia. En relació a la recerca en temes relacionats amb ERP, trobem un ampli abast de problemes d'investigació, i un alt número de variables d'influencia que intentem organitzar en aquí en un esquema conceptual. Així, aquest report de recerca pretén enumerar i categoritzar els problemes de recerca relacionats amb ERP mitjançant un esquema de cicle de vida d'un ERP. L'esquema està estructurat en fases i dimensions. Les fases són els diversos estadis del cicle de vida d'un ERP en una organització, i les dimensions són els diferents perspectives per les quals les fases poden ser analitzades.
