Description
Summary:[EN] Archaeological cultural heritage is a precious resource that should be transmitted to future generations. The 3D digital representation of monuments and sites has proven to be a reliable method for this aim. This article shows the geomatics workflow undertaken for the complex rock art documentation of the Cova dels Cavalls (Tírig, Castellón). The paintings are part of the Rock art of the Mediterranean Basin of the Iberian Peninsula declared a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site in 1998. The various stages are reviewed, from the acquisition phase up to the delivery of part of the derived metric products, such as 3D models and photorealistic models.
