Sumario:The future of the manufacturing industry highlydepends on digital systems that transform existing productionand monitoring systems into autonomous systems fulfilling strin-gent requirements in terms of availability, reliability, security, lowlatency, and positioning with high accuracy. In order to meet suchrequirements, private 5G networks are considered a key enablingtechnology. In this paper, we introduce the 5G-CLARITY systemthat integrates 5G new radio (5GNR), Wi-Fi and light fidelity(LiFi) access networks, and develops novel management enablersto operate 5G-Advanced private networks. We describe threecore features of 5G-CLARITY including a multi-connectivityframework, a high precision positioning server and a manage-ment system to orchestrate private network slices. These featuresare evaluated by means of packet level simulations and anexperimental testbed demonstrating the ability of 5G-CLARITYto police access network traffic, to achieve cm-level positioningaccuracy, and to provision private network slices in less than oneminute.
