Descrição
Resumo:[EN] The family has been a subject of inspiration for artists throughout history, depicted in paintings, sculptures, architecture, photographs and films. Why not consider it, then, as a potential work of art? What is it, then, that turns something everyday and normal into art, and what is the value of this consideration and positioning in art education? Using our own images and in dialogue with works of art and artistically portrayed families, we argue in favour of the consideration of the family as a Potential Artistic Worker (PoArWo) and the interest that this idea offers in the training of artists as well as teachers and art educators. We present experiences applying Educational Research Based on Visual Arts and Visual Anthropology. The family context enables experiences that cannot take place in a classroom context by generating a unique cognitive, affective and emotional connection, while at the same time allowing, as a Potential Artistic Workshop, the poetic and aesthetic to underpin experiences that do not cease to be educational in nature.
