Sumario:Time that a sample of 54 chicks, aged between 23 days and fledging, remained at the release site following (1) standard direct release (control group) and (2) the vision-deprived supine release method. Additionally, for a subsample of 15 chicks, time from a third release (second control group) is available, allowing us to assess any effect of release order.
