Sumario:This work intends to go in depth into the study of "quesuism" in current Spanish "both in its European and American variety" through the analysis of corpus such as CREA, CORPES XXI, COSER and ESLORA. Likewise, it shows the results of a survey that allows us to observe how certain sociolinguistic parameters can influence their use. In addition, we analyze the types of text in which it appears, the characteristics of the speakers who use it, the functions performed by que su and the nature of its antecedents. Finally, this paper refers to the different factors contributing to its appearance and consolidation.
