| Resumo: | [EN] <<It’s the year 2063, making its way across time and space a radio signal will reach the Earth, broadcasted by accident. Identifying itself as: “T.S.H.” by a mechanical voice transmission followed by the code number “4BY4 Y4LA”; what at first seemed to be some sort of a prank or what some scientists suggested “may be caused by something orbiting near our solar system”. Further investigations confirmed what the experts in the field often call an anomaly. The signal, also known as TSH2063, was transmitted from a fracture in the spacetime continuum, a place that could only exist in a lost future: Estridentopolis, the self-fulfilling prophecy of a city imagined by the Mexican avant-garde movement, Los Estridentistas in the early 1920s. >> TSH2063 sets out a speculative fiction story that takes place in a parallel timeline where the Estridentista uchrony took place. Based on radio art, moving images and post-digital graphics, TSH2063 narrates a transmedia story that intersects post-medial arts with speculative fiction, the latter is not only due to the possibilities of its aesthetics, because critical of its critical use to interpret the present, reappropriate the past and imagine other futures. TSH2063 is also a Space-Time Platform for Speculative Arts, which based on the theory of "media ecology" seeks to generate devices for experimental artistic distribution. |
