His essential contributions about this topic are: a) The presence of at least two cycles with lacustrine - paludinal limestones (Páramo limestones) in the upper part of Continental Neogenous record of the Duero basin; b) An approach to a most correct correlation and discrimination within evaporite (gypsiferous in the outcrops) continental tertiary deposits ; c) A biostratigraphic dating of many marginal and even central terrigenous deposits of Duero and Tajo basins that had been previously referred to Quaternary or Late Pliocene.
