| Sumario: | I understand Balibar's Marxism after Marxism as his reconstruction of some key concepts of Marxism: working class/class struggle, ideology/ideological struggle, philosophy/materialism, and communism/communists. In the article, I attempt to outline the main characteristics of Marxism after Marxism as proposed by Balibar by going through his critical examination of these concepts. As a result of the reading of Balibar's texts, other notions will appear. Thus, the complex multitude emerges as the working class after the working class. The ideological rebellion of the masses appears as the ideological struggle after ideology. The realism of theory develops the materialist philosophy after philosophy. And the communists of citizenship represent communism after communism. |
