Sumario:[EN] We present a synthesis of contemporary exhumations carried out in Spain as a result of concern for victims of the Civil War and subsequent dictatorship, stressing the key role in this area is responsible discipline of Forensic Medicine to provide information to know the truth. We also presents the rules that has developed over recent years in this field. All this accumulated experience in this field for different professionals integrated in multidisciplinary teams.
