Sumario:This paper is the first one of a series of nine in which, successively, the morphological characters of the spores and the pollen of the flower plants present in the iberian peninsula will be described. Descriptions are specifically aimed to assist the identification in pollen analysis. Families are treated in alphabetical order and follow the nomenclature of Flora Europaeu. Within each family, its more significant species in the Iberian Peninsula are dealth with.
