| Resumo: | We live in social and cultural diverse societies. UNESCO has pointed out the richness of cultural diversity in economic and social development. However, the confluence in the territory of people with different culture, customs, language and / or religions is often a source of conflict. There are different situations of sociability that lead to different ways of managing cultural diversity with different results in the axis of exclusion inclusion. The article analyses the management of cultural diversity as an area of Social Work intervention. Also, it presents professional competences, available resources and examples of diversity management activities in different areas of intervention. |
