Sumario:[eng] First sighting off Greater Yellowlegs (Tringa melanoleuca) in the Balearic Islands. In the Salobrar de Campos, in May 1995, a Greater Yellowlegs: (Tringa melanoleuca) was sighted and photographed, a vagrant species of North America, not recorded annually in Europe. This sighting has been accepted by the Spanish Rare Birds Commines, SEO. This is the third time recorded in Spain, and the first not only in the Balearic Island, but in the whole of the Mediterranean.
