Descripción
Sumario:This report synthesizes the conditions for holistic and eco‑efficient vineyard management in the SUDOE area, bringing together the legislative, economic, environmental and social factors that shape the circular transition in Portugal, Spain and France. It also integrates the evidence generated by the Soil&WineResidues project (S2/1.1/E0258), offering a consolidated view of the challenges and opportunities for circularity at both farm and territorial scales. Building on this foundation, the document develops a coherent narrative that first examines the regulatory and regional context and then links it with the agronomic and technological insights produced by the project. From there, it moves towards practical avenues for soil management, input reduction, the circular use of lignocellulosic residues, water reuse and organizational models capable of supporting these transitions. The final section identifies the elements that enable these approaches to work in real settings, with particular emphasis on logistics, cooperation and certification. Supported by Interreg Sudoe/FEDER funding, this report is conceived as a practical guide to align productivity, soil conservation and viticultural and winery residues valorisation, adapting circularity to the regulatory and territorial specificities of each wine‑growing region considered.
