Descripción
Sumario:The Teatros de arte appear in Spain in the twilights of the 19th centuiy as an offer of artistic renovation against commercial theatre, following the model of Antoine. During the twenties, this model of theatre develops the most innovative productions headed by Martínez Sierra, Rivas Cherif, and groups as El Mirlo Blanco or Fantasio. The alternative answers to commercial theatre promoted new ways of stage management, interpretation and scenographic solutions, inaugurating a route towards the aesthetic change and the education of the public.
