Resumo:[EN] From a qualitative hermeneutic framework through documentary review, a state of the art of texts that theoretically problematize drawing from communication and visual arts was established. Subjected to analytical reading, didactic guidelines were established that complement the teaching of drawing.The scans indicated that a greater proportion of the literature are technical manuals on the how of their practices compared to the theoretical production that tries to explain the what. From communication and the visual arts, subcategories of analysis arise, such as literacy, intelligence and visual culture from the communicative and the elements, habits and strategies of the practice of drawing from the visual arts. There is no unified view regarding drawing, but a theoretical postulate can be built from fragmented and deeply intertwined positions to its practical practice. The objective of this study is to produce a book that combines conceptual positions and theoretical with drawing practices and techniques identified in the trace. In search of development of technical skills useful to achieve specific goals in other disciplines, with theoretical conceptions and epistemic reflections for the conscious use of drawing.
