| Sumario: | [EN] In this work the results of the functional analysis applied to the lithic remains from the “Lower Magdalenian” level of Praileaitz I are presented. Use-wear traces allowed the identification of the lithic remains used as work tools as well as the production activities in which they took part. It is outstanding that a high percentage (60%) of those instruments was used for working animal resources. This included hunting, made evident by the presence of probable projectiles elements, the use of meat as food resource, and the exploitation of hides and bones as raw material for the manufacture of other goods. |
