Gain saturation and pulse statistics in single-mode semiconductor lasers
The statistics of pulse height max, pulse energy A, and pulse width of gain switched semiconductor lasers are obtained for different positive and negative values of the gain saturation factor by using the linear dependence of max and A on the switch-on time.
