Resumo:The teaching proposal "The Indian women´s mithila drawings” consists of a new methodological approach around the visual language of the comic. This project is focused on the subject of Arts imparted in the 1º year of Secondary Education. Given the narrative character of this type of visual representations, this proposal is designed to be implemented within the 2nd Block. Audiovisual Communication, specified in the 15th January´s Order of Andalucía. This Order highlights the relevance of learning about sequenced images through the comic while studying its formal and expressive elements. Being this proposal specifically designed for the Secondary Education centers located in the Community of Andalusia, it shows the aesthetic and transcultural characteristics of mithilā art. But it also hybridizes this type of Indian art with the one coming from Andalusia itself. It is in this way that this proposal generates a new comic´s pedagogy which essentially creative and cross-cultural between India and South Spain.
