Descripción
Sumario:The trace of Quevedo can be seen in the novel by Luis Vélez de Guevara, El Diablo Cojuelo, in multiple aspects: from the techniques of «apodo» and caricature used by Quevedo in his literary self-portraits to the image and the literary figure of himself he built, from the nickname with which he was known as «Diablo Cojuelo» to the legends he starred in. Everything seems to show that when writing his novel, Luis Vélez had it more present than what has been recognized so far.
