| Sumario: | Within the vast visual Brossa's production, multiple or serial work produced since 1970 contains a set of over one hundred and fifteen poems. This material allowed the admission of Brossa's works into the galleries of art and opened him the possibility of being known more broadly. This article traces back visual precedents in the work of the poet to the appearance of Concrete Art. Then the main serial visual editions are described and the characteristics, origin and theme of the poems are highlighted. Finally we explain that at the end of Brossa's life the visual poems decreased and, instead, the installations and the urban poems increased. The conclusions also highlighted the relationship of this type of work with the rest of Joan Brossa's production especially by the topic and the intention of the whole. Basically, experimentation visual poetry is closely related to the inherent transformism in his theatre and his poetry. |
