Sumario:[EN] First of all, the main terms used in this article are defined to avoid confusion. A short comment on the possible number of species of fungi present in the world is also shown here, in relationships with the number of existent vascular plants. The chaotic situation concerning the species concept in mycology is also mentioned, and several species of interesting commercial value in Spain are studled,looking forward to the equilibrium between the natural production of macrofungi and human exploitation.
