| Sumario: | The dataset includes sound level meter readings and audio files recorded at two receiver points (R1 and R2) near the church of Santa Maria d'Àneu (Pallars Sobirà, Catalonia). We used a Cesva SC202 sound level meter and a Zoom H4n recorder. Additionally, the dataset includes a table with the coordinates of parish churches in the Àneu deanery and the heights of their bell towers or gables. The data were collected as part of the MSCA postdoctoral project "Aural Culture: Decoding the Sacred Soundscapes of Medieval Europe" (acronym: CULT-AURAL, Grant Agreement ID: 101064323). Fieldwork was conducted in March 2024 by Zorana Dordevic, Xavier Costa-Badia, and Diego Moreno Iglesias. |
