Sumario:[EN] This communication focuses on strengths and limits of online assessment in higher education in the field of design. By describing and analyzing some methodological strategies and technological resources implemented at the Open University of Catalunya, we discuss particular pedagogical challenges linked to the procedural, practical and creative nature of the training. We specifically address the role of dialogic feedback and challenge-based learning as ways to visualize and accompany the work and progress of online students, and also to foster collaboration among peers and the socialization of learning.
