Description
Summary:[EN] “As though it were a royal palace, the Customs House, magnificent, solid, autonomous, free standing, surrounded by gardens”, as the authors of the article describe it, “arranges one of the most valued scenes of nineteenth century Valencia.” The intervention on the exterior facades, as well as affording an opportunity for investigating the building, while awaiting the second phase of refurbishment, addresses the recuperation of a finishing technique that deserves reflection about its authenticity, suitability and tradition in 18th century Valencia.
