Descripción
Sumario:[EN] This contribution presents the results of a first research work aimed at verifying the state of the art of the census of residual Roman hydraulic structures present in Basilicata. From the verification of the current state of knowledge relating to the archaeological emergencies of hydraulic works in Basilicata, as well as from the consideration of the different morpho-evolutionary contexts that characterize the Apennine and hilly Lucanian landscape, a very impoverished general picture emerges in the current archaeological evidences, compared to the presumable initial framework. The possible reasons for this Lucanian scenario are analyzed and summarized in the text.
