Sumario:This research provides evidences on the potencial use of the 655 nm continuous wave diode laser irradiation to modify the canine sperm motility. The experimental model used has been fresh samples from adult (5.9  2.1 years old) and healthy beagle dog sperm that have been exposed to different doses an output powers of laser irradiation. The different motility parameters have been analysed as well as the spermatic subpopulations. The results clearly indicate that the laser energy modulates the sperm motility and that this effect is depends on the dose and on the output power. This effect is done by a mechanism of action that is not related to tirosine mechanism nor to mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (mROS).
