Revision of the genus Zodarion Walckenaer, 1833 in the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands (Araneae, Zodariidae)

| Sumario: | [EN] The author describes 27 Zodarion species occurring in the Iberian peninsula and the Balearic islands. Z. algarvense, Z. costablancae, Z. gregua, Z. jozefienae, Z. mallorca, Z. merlijni, Z. minutum, Z. murphyorum, Z. rudyi, Z. segurense and Z. vanimpei are new species, and Z. rubidum Simon, 1914 is recorded for the first time. Z. algiricum (Lucas, 1846) is limited to Algeria and was erroneously cited from the south of Spain. The following new synonyms are established: Z. marginiceps Simon, 1914 = Z. monticola Denis, 1950 syn. n.; Z. pseudoelegans stat. n. = Z. marginiceps pseudoelegans Denis, 1933 = Z. berlandi Denis, 1935 syn. n.; Z. styliferum (Simon, 1870) = Z. extraneum Denis, 1935 syn. n. |
