| Sumario: | The Paradigm STd must consider the relevance of technology, not only as a component of management, but also as an attribute of the experience of the tourist destination. The concept of experience Phygital is emerging as a major challenge for the design of each STd, and there may be important differences between types of destinations. The present study examines the binomial STd/Phygital as in the case of the chicken and the egg. This is supported by a field work in a rural destination, and builds a model that defines and assesses the concepts of utility and value of technology for its visitors, integrating the major current technological applications in the STd. The results allow us to observe how technology mobile, online/ontime, form a permanent part of the behavior of the tourist, and the creation of a new type of personalized experience that merges the physical and technological development: Phygital |
