| Resumo: | Atti di Convegno di Studi, Grottaferrata, 27-29 Ottobre, 2005. This volume includes proceedings of the conference “Rocky settlements of the middle age: habitations and productive structures. Central and southern Italy” (Grottaferrata, October 2005). Papers are about different regions of the central and southern Italy and they reflect upon the way of the current studies, focusing the attention on the main topics of the rocky settlements like organization, habitation typologies, relation with infrastructures, analyzing always connections to topographic contests. So the volume represents an important scientific and methodological comparison of different cultural contexts, with a rich graphic support, following an unique guiding thread: “ Rocky civilization”.
