| Sumario: | This document details the design of a Passive UHF RFID Temperature Sensing Antenna Tag, integrated into biocompatible material, to incorporate within a brain surgical prosthesis. This wireless and non-invasive RFID device allows temperature monitoring, affording valuable clinical control of the patient?s status. A material characterization, RFID Tag design, manufacturing and verification process of the RFID part and Sensor capabilities have been performed. In default of the accuracy calibration sensor and the need to enhance the industrial process, this innovation assures to revolutionize the patients? status monitoring. The RFID Sensing Tag provides a diagnosis and vital control tool helping health professionals, improving substantially the preventive examination to reduce the required time of hospitalization, recovery, and rehabilitation due to this new generation of Implants RFID. |
