Sumario:Scientific research and current educational legislation supports methodological change. This change is based on shared and formative assessment process. Although active methodologies are present in Physical Education in Primary school, there are few references to evaluation and limited instruments to assess the coherence between the two processes. This paper shows the development and validation of an instrument designed to detect the relationship between the assessment process and the methodology implemented by teachers. The instrument has been validated by Delphi method and a pilot test. MAEV-EFP was the resulting questionnaire. The lack of terminological clarity and knowledge about methodology and assessment of teaching-learning process in Physical Education in Primary school, were some of the limitations found
