Descripción
Sumario:During the years between 1450 and 1600 the town of Cadiz had only a modest number of inhabitants. In addition, the Anglo-Dutch assault of 1596 meant the destruction of the documentary sources preserved up to that time in the city, which is why the study of the sources on artistic production and guild organization of this period is particularly complex. In any case, they would be very fragile and incipient associative structures whose life would be curtailed by the Anglo-Dutch assault and its disastrous consequences.
