Sumario:Despite what has been published so far about Miguel de Unamuno and women, this important topic related to Unamuno has not undertaken a review of the issues with which this article deals: a reflection on the feminine influence on Unamuno’s personality, life and work, and how this influence is reflected in his intellectual relationships with Hispanic American writers. To that effect, we analyse mainly the epistolary dialogues that are established between Unamuno and these writers. Finally, we draw some conclusions about Unamuno’s considerations regarding women, based on his writings and these epistolary relationships
