Sumario:An isopach map of the sedimentary infill in the Aiboran Sea Basin is calculated by using with the commercial seismic-reflection profiles framework a generalized depth conversion function that combines seismic velocities (rms-ve/ocities) and commercial-well data. The total sedimentary thickness distribution shows maximum depocenters up to 8.5 km thick, located in structural troughs with variable trends (among others the principals are: West Aiboran basin and its northern branch called Malaga basin, and the Motril basin). The depocenter dimensions and orientation changes result from the interference between several extensional systems that attenuated the Aiboran Domain during the Lower- andMiddte- Miocene, moreover with Upper-Miocene to lower-PHocene strike-slip faults and folds. At the center of the basin, and from the 4BW meridian towards the E, the sedimentary thickness diminishes reaching observable values of 7 km. The isopach map is compatible with the eastward thinning of the crust and lithosphere pointed out by recent heat-flow measurements
