Descripción
Sumario:[EN]There are many approaches that are made regarding the status of these nuclear structures and the possibility of extending its service life, being corrosion one of the problems that most concern today. Therefore, the corrosion control and evaluation in structures such as the liners of the contention buildings is extremely important to assure that this is not the reason that limits the service life of these structures. In the present paper application results of non-destructive electrochemical tests for the corrosion evaluation of metallic elements embedded in the concrete of real nuclear contention structures such as the liners mentioned before are presented.
