Sumario:This investigation, with its applied nature, focuses on evidencing issues in addressing abandoned industrial areas. While the study is grounded in the Milanese context, its reflections aim to contribute to a broader understanding of industrial heritage preservation, offering insights that can be valuable for other cities facing similar challenges. Through this approach, the study hopes to contribute to the construction of strategies that reconcile historical preservation with the demands of contemporary urban life, ensuring that these spaces are not only physically integrated but also intellectually and culturally accessible to future generations
