Descripción
Sumario:[EN] The erotic scenes that appear in the European gothic choir stalls are justified in holy places due to the moralizing characters of «repulsion» that should be produced in the spectator and that have their origin in the classical and Patristic literature as also in certain authors of the XVth century. It is pretended to form obscene erotic groups represented in the choir stalls which are supported by texts from the epoch. Finally the duet <Eras and Deaths acquires in the choir stalls through the presence of death a reflexion through same to obviate loving desires.
