| Sumario: | [EN] The present publication (the second of a series about the ibero-balearic Onthophagini), is an up-to-date summary in which, the present knowledge of the faunistic, taxonomy and phylogenetical systematic of this tribe, is incorporated. The work. encloses keys for identification of genera, subgenera and new species which have enlarged the catalogue of Onthophagini: Onthophagus semicornis (PANZER), O. joannae GOLJAN, O. albarracinus BARAUD and, with doubts, O. hispanicus BARAUD and O. emarginatus MULSANT ; new taxa of the generic and subgeneric rank : genus Euonthophagus BALTHASAR, and the subgenera : Onthophagus sensu stricto LATR., Parentius ZUNINO, Trichonthophagus ZUNINO, Furconthophagus ZUNINO, Palaeonthophagus ZUNINO and Amphionthophagus MARTÍN PIERA & ZUNINO ; and finally, nomenclature changes in subespecific and specific categories : Euonthophagus gibbosus gibbosus (ScRIBA), O. (Palaeonthophagus) marginalis andalusicus .WALTL and O. similis (SCRIBA) (= O. opacicollis REITTER). In the genus Onthophagus, a key ob subgenera and groups of species represented in our own fauna, is given. |
