| Resumo: | [EN] Within the activity of industrial maintenance, measurement and quantification of the different physical variables is vital to mark the operating status and the service provided. All this is done through research of quantitative techniques, forgetting other aspects that influence in a significant way the service (staff), whose proper way of measurement, in many cases, is only possible to research using qualitative techniques. This article seeks to show the perception of the researcher in the application of different techniques of qualitative research in the study of organizations of industrial maintenance of companies, taken as a social representation. For this reason, a comparison of qualitative research methods is presented, to understand and address tactical maintenance features that depend very directly on human performance, advantages and disadvantages in their use, that have been observed in a global investigation of the operation of maintenance based on the knowledge management. |
