Sumario:[EN] How to talk about an event that has already been told and commented on many times? The creation of the International Congress of Modern Architecture in La Sarraz in June 1928 is one of them. After the epic accounts of the first heroes of the "modern" adventure, historians have been more critical, circumspect, even suspicious or reproachful. Would we be in front of a myth built from scratch? Certainly, the unity of the "movement", self-proclaimed and undoubtedly harmful, deserves to be observed with caution; but almost a century after the facts, it is undoubtedly time to look at them with a new eye. Using a photograph and unpublished correspondence between two of the protagonists of the affair, I propose to get to the heart of the story.
