| Sumario: | This article contains some of the results from the first research on gender violence in Spanish universities. Based on a review of international research, we demonstrate that gender violence is prevalent in universities. Subsequently, we identify measures to prevent and overcome gender violence which are already being developed in some of the most prestigious international universities.
