Descripción
Sumario:[EN] This article analyzes a previously unpublished set of sketches preserved in the archives of the Benlliure House-Museum, which document various proposals for the remodelling of the home, studio, and garden of the painter José Benlliure. Mostly attributed to his son, Peppino Benlliure, the drawings are interpreted from the perspective of their design function, framed within the disciplines of architecture and landscape architecture, as tools that reveal the conception process of the complex and its formal evolution. The comparative study conducted allows us to reconstruct the proposed design alternatives and highlights the Benlliures desire to integrate architecture, garden, and artistic elements.
