Descripción
Sumario:Short food supply chains have been having a great impact in Europe's society since 90s, raising as an alternative model to the current dominant agro-industrial regime. Setting the ecological transition of agri-food law as a main theme, this studypresents a legal investigation on the relevance of short food supply chainsin the development of more environmentally sustainable agri-food systems. To do this, an analysis of legal definitions related to short food supply chainscollected by European, Spanish and regional regulations has been performed. The aim of this study is to elucidate whether the legal regime of short food supply chains, as defined by the different regulations, is an effective instrument in the construction of more environmentally sustainable agri-food systems.
