| Sumario: | [EN] This research reveals significant and previously unknown details on the auxiliary lines and geometrical drawing of the Charles V Palace in the Alhambra, preserved at the National Historical Archive. A precise digital reproduction has made possible to formulate a hypothesis about the drawing process and discover some previous sketches of this major graphic legacy of the Early Spanish Renaissance. All this, together with the dimensional comparison with other famous drawings of the palace and data of the lost model, brings new evidence on its purpose, date and authorship, matters which still today are subject to discussion. |
