First observation of the longevity of the Manx shearwater (Puffinus yelkouan mauretanicus) with a minimum age of 20 years, confirmed by the Banding Office of ICONA. Said bird was banded as a reproducing adult on the little island of Fonoll (archipelago of Cabrera) on May 32, 1974, with the inscription «Science Museum No. E-26303», and recovered on April 22, 1993 on the same island. |
