Concurrent engineering arises from the existence or feedback of information from design to manufacturing areas, in order to design both product and manufacturing system thereof. In this paper a comparative of traditional design versus concurrent design is collected, taking into account considerations regarding the product life cycle and the economic outlook based on the cost factor. |
